Sea world

David was looking forward to going to Sea World for the last month and we finally made it. David was really excited to see all the animals, but what he didn't expect was to feed the dolphins and touch them. He was so excited when he touched one, it was amazing. Misha was even more excited when a dolphin played with him. He was more excited than David was, he was like a kid again. It was just like a commercial for the Disney World- walking in as an adult and playing like a kid. A few tips if you are planning on going - stay near the hotel so you can rest whenever and do not go on the weekends, the lines are not worth it. You can get the tickets online, so plan ahead. Here are some pictures for you to enjoy.

San Antonio

We finally got out of Dallas heat into.... San Antonio heat. We had a chance to visitour dear friends Sveta, Vova, and their cute little son Danila. Vova and Misha had a great time barbequing russian kolbasky and drinking, well, what can they drink, vodka, of course. They had a GRAND time together. We spent a night at their new house: we had dinner together and had to say good buy to them in the morning so we could go and check in our hotel. I was suprised to see Misha doing well in Sea World the next morning. Thank you so much to Sveta, Vova, and Danila, for letting us stay with you. We enjoyed seeing you and hope wewill see you soon in our Dallas heat :)

Jake's birthday

Today we went to celebrate Jake's 4th birthday at the pool. It was so much fun - kids enjoyed running around in the pool, going down the slides, and spraying each other with water. It was pure summer fun. Even though it was a bit hot, the boys didn't feel the heat, they were just "cool" with it. The cake was great and David would not have missed it for the pool, so he went to sit down so he can eat the cake. David was a little sad to go and wanted to stay longer with his best friends Jake and Ben.

Lake house

This Saturday David and I went to our friend's lake house again to let Misha work on our living rooms floors. David was so excited to go, he didn't even know what to do. He had a great day playing with Ben and Ella. We went to the pool for a couple of hours and in the evening we went to the dock to catch a catfish (we had to let it go back in the water). We stayed there overnight - being away from the city is just amazing, the body relaxes and kids are being kids - running around outside. On Sunday, my friend's parents were nice enough to take David with them on the bike ride - I won't be biking for a while. Later that day, David got to go fishing with Fartook's on the boat. He loved every minute of that. I didn't go this time... May be next summer :)

Breakfast

On Friday, David and I went to his favorite breakfast place - The original house of Pancakes. He loves this place for it's pancakes :)
We had an amazing day together running errands and playing at home. I wish we had more days together like that :)

More please

While back we went to Vincent's for dinner and ordered our favorite appetizer - crab claws. We offered to David and he tried, but didn't like it. Well, after a few more tries, he loves it now. I brought some from work this weekend (for Misha because he was working so hard n the floors), and, well, we had to fight David just to get a few :) (j/k) but in reality, when crab claws were running low, David said "After this, can I have more?" He does have a good taste in food because he eats anything I bring from Vincent's. May be one day he will open up his own restaurant.

Baking

David and I decided to make brownies. He was a great help and wanted to do it all by himself. He enjoyed licking the fork after we were done:)

Our house

As many of you know, we had some minor problems at our house: a/c broke, water heater leaked, etc... Just minor problems. Well, we have to replace our living room floor because of the water heater leakage. So this weekend Mike took the floors apart and placed it (whatever was left of the good floors) in David's playroom and formal living room. The project is far from being done, but here is what we have so far:

Misha did a great job so far!
