Spring break

During this Spring berak we went to the Lake House again for a couple of days. Miriam's family friends came as well with their 5 year old girl, Madeline and 2 year old boy Preston. David enjoyed playing with Ben and Maddie. They love enjoyed blowing bubbles, but most of all, chasing after butterflies.

Bike riding is always fun because the roads are all yours and there is no limit on how far you can go. David loves racing now and somehow he wins most of the time.

Now, boat riding was another story. At first, David got excited about riding on the boat, but as soosn as the wind hit his face (going against the wind a little faster), David got really scared and wanted to go back to the dock. Then, of course, as soosn as we got off the boat, he was ready go go back on the boat and ride, but, everything in moderation.

Now, the bst part of the trip, of course, is fishing. David enjoys fishing, but he has yet to catch a fish. The face on the picture below show how he feels when the fishing is done.

Now, that is all I have, so enjoy it for a while.
P.S.
David's swminning lessons have been extended for another 4 weeks, yeah!!! I haven't seen the difference in his swimming, but he loves it, so.

Snow day

Here is the proof that winter does come to Texas, even if it's every 10 years and lasts only 1 night :)

Lake house

We visited the lake house again last week and it was so much fun. We took bike rides to feed the ponies and donkies. At times, bike ride sharing was a bit tight on space, but we made it back to the house. We played in the sand by the clubhouse and put our feet in the freezing cold pool. A few minutes later we had to soak our feet in the hut tub to warm up.

Kids had fun running around, chasing bubbles and flying kites; and so did... dads :)

Everybody seemed to enjoy the lake house.

That's all I've got.

Gymnast

David has been going to the gymnastics for about 2 years now and loves it. Here is our futire gymnast:
