X-mas morning

For Christmas morning we went to our friends to celebrate with them. The tree was beautiful with the gifts galore under the tree. Everyone had gifts under the tree and the opening of the gifts was the best, all had fun. The best part, of course, was watching everyone when they were opening their gifts, especially David and Sasha. Thank you for all the gifts, and a great time! Same time same place next year? Hope so!

A gift

The boys really liked the gift that Morels brougt for David for the first night of Hanukkah. Can you guess who is who? Which one is having more fun?

Hanukkah

Happy Hanukkah! Today is the last night of Hanukkah and David had opened his last gift already. It was fun celebrating and watching David open his gifts, one by one, all 8 of them. For the first night we had our dear friends, the Morels, come for dinner. It was nice having them over and watch the boysplay with their gifts and with each other. Sasha has grown so much! He is soo cute.

Future soccer player

We look great in uniform, but future player - not. David enjoys playing on a small team, but doesn't like to run after the ball and a team of kids. Oh, well, as long as he enjoys being next to other kids :)

Trick or treat?

We went trick or treating at David's friend's neighborhood. All three boys and a girl had a blast! They all had a target in mind - get as much candy as they possibly could. Well, needless to say, buckets were full of good stuff - chocolates!!! And so may days later, who do you think is eating the chocolates? Well, if you said parents, you are right! Every day, little by little :))) and David gets some too :) He shares with baby Joshua!

Misha's Birthday

Misha's birthday was great. His mom with his brother and family came and had a great time. David loved every minute spent with his older cousins. Sasha read him a book and David loved it! He was so excited to see and play with cousins that he was unable to go to sleep - too much fun with older boys! They all had fun playing and eating baba Vera's cake!
Happy Birthday, papa! We love you

5 year anniversary

Believe it or not, it has been 5 years since our wedding, so grandma Vera came to watch David while Misha and I went out to celebrate. For dinner we decided to try NAAN, Korean and sushi place. Yes, we are not sushi people, but we wanted something different, something special. It turned out to be very good. Misha ordered smoked salmon and an octopus sushi and I chose teriyaki salmon. The food was delicious, even the sushi. After that we went to the Cheesecake factory for the desserts and after dinner drink, which was decaf for us. The evening turned out to be very good. We haven't been out in a while, so it was exactly what we needed.

Soccer

Well, David had started his soccer again this year. He loves to run around, but it does not look like he is into a team sport just yet. He loves running and kicking the ball when 1:1, but he does not risk to run after the ball or much less to take it away from other people when a crowd of 5-10 kids is involved. At least he is out and about.

Plano Balloon Festival

David and I went to the Balloon festival this year and we had a lot of fun eating corndogs and looking at the different kinds of balloons launching. David's favorite was a pirate, but the battery died before I could take a picture of it. I think we will go again next year.

Peter Piper Pizza b-day celebration

Here are some pictures from David's kids party at Peter Piper Pizza. Kids had a lot of fun, and needless to say, David loved all the attention he got that day. Thanks to all who celebrated this special day with us. Some big "kids" had fun as well.

David's b-day cont'd

I know I haven't been here in a while, but my school is keeping me busy. But after all this wait, I will try to make it worth your while.
So, for David's birthday dinner we went out to Vincent's with our dear friends, Morels. The dinner was great, as usual and David got to spend time with baby Sasha. They were so good together. David also got the cool gifts, and mama was very happy with the sweater that David got, one of his many presents from the Morels. They are always so generous to David! Thank you so much for all you do for us and David. You are our dearest friends and, that goes without saying, we love you!
