Dallas World Aquarium

David was very excited about going to the aquarium - he wanted to see sharks! Last time we went, about a year ago, we went with our neighborghs and, surprisingly, David rememebred that and was talking about it all the way there.

He was thrilled to see the alligators, but couldn't understand why they didn't move. I had to explain that they most likely just ate and had to digest:)

Starfish was pretty and David enjoyed counting them.

And while we were enjoying the aquarium, how am I suppose to explain this to my 3-year-old boy? Well, he asked if they were fighting, and I said that one of those turtles was very sorry. Would you have had a better answer?

Health and Safety Fair

Of course, Dr. Morel was enjoying playing with David, and he absolutely loved the attention he was getting :). She let him put fake teeth in and he thought he was so scary - walked up to a couple of girls and tried to scare them, but then I had to spoil the fun by taking the teeth away - too much drooling with them on.

The ambulance and the firetruck was there as well. David enjoyed going inside the firetruck and looking at the computers. He had some questions for the ambulance driver, who was talking about the medical equipment the ambulance had. All kids inside the ambulance were listening when a guy was talking about the shots :)

Swimming

Hello,

David is taking swimming lessons and loves it! At first. After the first lesson I wasn't sure if we would come back: David didn't want to go with his teachers (young kids) because they were strangers, and when I asked the person in charge if I should leave, she happily said "yes". I was almost in tears watching from the second story balcony how my son was doing in the pool with unfamiliar to him young adults, calling me. But, 15 minutes into it, he was as happy as could be, but of course, it was almost time for him to go. My nerves were calming down as I listened to him telling me with the excitement in his voice how much fun it was and asking when we could go again. So, needles to say, we go 2 times a week and David is still looking forward to it every time!

That's all I've got.

ZOO

Today we had a lot of fun at the Zoo. We've decided to join the zoo with the family membership for a year. We will be visiting the zoo often, so don't think I don't post new info. Keep on reading. David enjoyed the pony ride.

Look who found a new best friend:

More pictures and info to come when I have more time, it's too late now.

Sly

If you had never seen David's facial expression right after being mischevious, here it is:

And if you think resoninh with a 3 year old is easy, try resoning with this face:

Biker

A while back we were visiting my mom and her neighbor's son, a little older than David, had this bike. David thought it was the coolest vehicle ever, and wanted to ride it. So, this is something that I have to look forward to in the near future :)
What do you think?
